I'm looking at getting another boat for small water fishing. I currently run a 620T and "need" to get a smaller boat for small ponds. I've been on tuffys website but I can't figure out the difference between the Esox LTD and the Esox Mag. Steve you're probably the one to answer this but if anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it. Anyone that runs one or the other want to weight in with pros and cons I'd appreciate it. Most of the smaller lakes I'll be fishing with it are as small as 20 acres and no bigger then 200 acre, anything much bigger I can get usually get my 620T on. Thanks for the help!

The Esox LTD doesn't have a built in fuel system, has a simplified electrical system, has less storage and no baitwell, and is 10" narrower. it'll power well with a 40, better with a 50.

Is the Esox too small at 15'? That one is great for puddle jumping on lakes to 800 acres or so, fishes two great and three OK, and weighs just 500 pounds. It'll go like mad with a 25 and can be bought for about 11K new with a 25 ELHPT Merc 4 stroke and a ShoreLandr trailer.

Give Denny at Fort Fremont Marine or Mike at Boulder marine a call, they can quote one for you.

Thanks Steve! That's what I was looking for. I'll give the Esox a look too.
