hey guys, just got a custom 9.5" from kyle and was wondering what the report is on these bad boys. how do you work'em? straight retreive or stop and go? how heavy a rod do you use for the big ones verus the regular size? sorry for all the questions but was wondering..karol

Those big ss shads are a hard pounding crankbait. I haven't used mine much, but plan on throwing it a bit on LOTW next week. I really bought it to use in the fall.

Cool bait. I like to straight crank it with a couple quick turns of the handle now and then. I throw it on the same rod I use for big blades and it's a good match.

I'm with Will, but use it more as a jerk bait. AWESOME roll and flash. Can get it to almost walk-the-dog. Really rrrrip the thing and see what it does... I think you'll like what you see

karol when i spoke to kyle when he was here recently he told me basicly the same thing , that will said.. i have not tried one yet, but i intend too. and i will have to try the jerk thing too.. and ask chae i know he has them i believe...bill

try trollin that baby! dives around 6ft. keep the speed under 3.5mph. before it blows out. caught my biggest fish this year last weekend, 48" 30+lbr!!!!!

It won't blow out over 3.5mph and will dive to at least 10 ft depending on how much line you have out.

i havent tried the bigger one....... the regular one blows out if you go much over 3.5mph. they are a great bait. throw them away after a couple fish. once the outer shell gets punctured there done
