LOL. I guess someone beat me to the punch on this as I didn't want to post anything until I heard back from Steve on forum rules but here is the info.

Rich Robinson owner of Mike’s Bait On 8 is having his 1st annual Forest Lake Muskie Tournament on Sunday July 26th  http://www.mikesbaiton8.com/muskietournament.html. It’s a team format tournament limited to 50 boats with witness boats on each of the three lake basins measuring fish. With a $2000.00 first prize and cash and prizes through 5th place plus raffles, it should be a fun event. Please check out the web page for more info and registration forms.

Also note that Mike's has a new website www.mikesbaiton8.com

Thanks

Chris

Yeah its july 26th, Me and my buddie were one of the 1st to sign up. Seems to be a inexpensive local/metro tournament with a decent payout. Good luck, see ya there.

Could somebody please tell me the details of what happened at this tournament. How many boats, who won and on what bait, any big fish. Used to fish here quite often but have since moved. Curious of the outcome. If it was posted already, sorry I couldn't find it.
Thanks, Ted.

Pretty sure they had a full field, 50 boats. First place was 3 fish, second was a 49.5. I'm pretty sure that is correct, someone else may correct me if I'm wrong.
