My transducer broke between the head and the mounting swivel. I was thinking about drilling and pinning it and using some epoxy. Has anyone had any success or failure with this type of repair that might help me out?

Try some JB Weld...I think that stuff fixes everything.

I tried epoxy on mine. Held for a while but eventually failed. I ended up drilling a couple small holes on either side of the break and running safety wire across the break to reinforce the repair. Still holding after a year and a half.

I would replace it, a tranducer is relatively inexpensive. A repair job may hold for a while, but you never know when it will fail. Not worth being on the water and having it fail, only to leave you without the use of your electronics...
