Location: Janesville | This is a very good body of water fish devels elbow and the river. The musky like bucktail and spinner baits and also topwater baits if we ever have a warming trend. Fish nalthe creeks the enter the river they catch alot of muskys in the creek mouths. Ornange and red blades are good. they do catch some on jerk baits also mantas are good. There are some sloughs that also produce . I have caught fish there on rubber dubber at brown creek. They mostly fish the river and cast the shore lines. Hope this helps. You can go to forcier guide service .com he guide on the flowage and has up mdates on his web site. |

Location: c.wis | I grew up in wis.rapids but heres my .02-
barnum bay- and the river the end on the way to rapids/nekossa, were the river flows into the lake- there is alot of great spots to fish in the river itself- you could spend all day up there- BE CAREFUL up there though lots of stumps, that goes for most of petenwell, black/orange-anything: and all black- ive had alot of luck with spinnerbaits, super d's,ddd's,dd's,amma bamma's, rapala mag shad, topraiders: smaller bucktails seam to be best- IF you insist on throwing 10's go with a single 10. black/nickle-blue/yellow-black/orange.............. ill be on the river this weekend, if not on petenwell ill be downtown rapids- good luck |
