i am trying to get into trolling more because i know it can be very effective during the month of june. In this month, do you concentrate your efforts on weedlines and edges like you would casting, or do you look for suspeneded baitfish in open water. also, ive heard evening and dusk is the best time to troll-does that sound right?

I like casting shallow weeds in early and late periods and usually troll in mid day etc. Trolling is a presentation that works at different times for different populations of fish. But try to start shallow in weeds or over them, then work the edge and work your way outward. I usually take that approach and when I get sick of cleaning weeds and fouling up I move out. Also there are a ton of good threads on here about trolling. Use the 'search' function and look up "trolling" etc. Also Gregg Thomas has two great videos out that cover both types "Weed Fishing" and "Spring Tactics" highly recommended
Good Luck
