I know there are muskie in Gull Lake, where I am not sure as I have not fished them there. I know they were trying to get approval for muskie stocking on Gull which has not happened, but they are already in the lake, just not sure what kind of population exists.........

Lake Shamineau, Alexander, Mille lacs, and Cedar are not too far away if you want to fish muskie

Boy...being in that area, I'd say hit the mississippi river...

Lots to fish from Little falls all the way up through brainerd. within an hour or so, you have Mille lacs, and the walker area as well...

There are likely a few muskies in Gull. But definitely not a fishable population. The waters already mentioned are your nearest options. You could also head a little further north and hit lakes in the Leech Lake/Longville area.

Hit the Mississippi if you don't like your lower unit. LOTS of danger there, especially if you've never been.

There are a couple random musky in gull but not worth wasting time over. Big pike though. I fish alex, shamineau, and the longville/leech area. Let me know before you go. I can give you some tips on where to get started. I live 15 mins from alex and work 15 mins from leech and 20 mins from longville
