I know it's been very cool, temperature-wise, in Wisconsin this Spring, what are the prospects for water temps, muskie spawn, weed growth outlook for LOTW, Rainy, etc. Hope the ice is off, I saw it was 27 in International Falls the other day!

Location: Lake of the Woods, Morson, Ontario
Water temps topping out at 54-55 the last couple of days. Have heard some anglers say they've been spotting some green weeds out there, but with the lake level rising fast, it will be difficult for the weed growth to keep pace. The weeds will be there, but they probably won't be "topping out" like they might be during a more normal spring water level.

Quite a few walleye fisherman have been getting muskies on jigs and spinner rigs and very few of the females look like they have spawned out yet.

Very cold this morning so we won't be gaining any ground on the water temp today.

Would be very surprised if the spawn is through by opener in our neck of the Woods. (Sabaskong, Miles, Burrow, etc.)

Latest reports out of Eagle are about the same: Water temps in the low - mid 50's, high water, weed growth slightly behind, several cold fronts moving through over the last several days. Looks like the spawn may not be completely over for the opener.

I seen on Weather.com that the air temps in Angle Inlet MN only broke 60 degrees ONCE in may! Not good. Heard there's still frost in the ground and some snow in the woods at the angle! Not what I wanted to hear!
