Location: Milwaukee, WI | I've found cheap ones ($15-20) at Wallgreen's. Look for "polarized" on the tag. You can do a quick test for polarized lenses, in the store, if you have 2-pairs of truly polarized glasses.
Hold them up together (one in front of the other) & look at the ceiling lights through both pairs of lenses. Then, rotate one pair 90 degrees either direction. With one pair held horizontal & one pair vertical; if you cannot see the lights through the 2 pairs of lenses, both are polarized.
If one pair is NOT polarized, you won't see the lights dim out as you rotate one pair. |

| Hey, there's a new pair out by H30 -- the guy's who make the shades that come with 3 different lenses for about $100. They are now offering their sunglasses with one lens of your choosing for $39. They are really nice, polarlized, made for fishing. |

Otherwise go to your local BPS/GANDER and they have a bunch, just takes awhile to find ones that actually feel right on your face, and you cant stand wearing them for long period, thats the issue with slightly cheap ones. |

| Amber, for sure! The other choice are bright-ass yellow which makes a dark day look sunny or smoke, of which I've never been a big fan. |

Location: In a shack in the woods | If your good ones are smoke maybe think about going amber on the cheapys for cloudy days or vice versa. That's what I did. |

Location: Irvine, KY | I use a pair of polarized Foster Grants from rite aid lol... I decided to never buy another pair of $100 + sunglasses after losing two pairs of Oakleys.
Just picked up two more pairs of Fosters... they were buy one get one. Works for me!

| What ever you decide for glasses make sure they say 100% UV protected. Wearing cheap glasses is worse then wearing no glasses at all. I for 1 found that out the hard way. I developed melanoma Cancer in my left eye 2 1/2 years ago. Dr. say it came from the sun, and gues what, I always wore these 2 dollar glasses that allow the uv in. I am fortunate enough that I have not lost my vision in that eye. And I sure would hate to see anyone loose theres. It can happen to anyone. I am 34 years old!!! |
