| I m takin a break right now so I m typin this, I m on holocombe flowage for first time today after a really cold morning I decide to wait lil bit n get on water at 630am. I was in 15-17 fow breakline castin jake to shore. I was snap, pause, pull, snap to the boat as my dog was rest her head on gunwale when I let jake rise to surface out of nowwhere 30s muskie smashed right before I start figure 8. I and my dog was scared n I started to panic when fish start to thrashin on surface till I managed to get my thumb to free spool and buried my rod in water to prevent fish to do more headshake and finally netted beautiful low 30s muskie. Its my first wisc muskie on jake. First crankbait fish, first fish on figure 8 and first time on holocombe I guess it had to be begineer luck! I was shakin after I released her wow it was excitin! back to fishing! |
