Random quote: A couple of young fellers were fishing at their special pond off the beaten track when out of the bushes jumped the Game Warden. Immediately, one of the boys threw his rod down and started running through the woods like a bat out of hell, and hot on his heels came the Game Warden.

Thanks, Steve and Rem. If I find time to visit the woodshop again, there will be more baits coming...

Very nice looking baits Michael , love to see more of them.
If your doing softbaits now , do you fish for zander ?
Or are you making them for the big-girls ?
And do you have some pics of them ?
A lot of questions (i know) i`m just curious when you start building again.(wood)

Hi Northern-Pike

I do make some 5" regular shad type baits, aimed for perch and sander. But mainly I make an 8" swimbait aimed for pike. It hasnt gotten any name yet...
When I start with wood again, time will tell. I really do miss it, but Im sick and tired of all the prep work before the fun part; painting. I do have a new idea for a crank bait, which I may realize this year.
