Subject: Lund Sport Track downrigger brackets and Down East rod holders

I have 4 new brackets that fit into the sport track rails on the new Lund boats. They slide into the sport track rail and then go over the gunwale, to screw into the outside of the boat in the snap rail. They can be used to mount downriggers, or rod holders, or whatever. I actually just drilled them for the S-17 style Down East rod holders, but I will be leaving my boat at a slip this summer and this arrangement will prevent me from using the mooring cover while the boat is at the dock. So I am going to go a different route.

In addition, I have the powder-coated version (S-17PC) of the Down East Salty rod holders, and these are also new. Here's a link to a picture of the rod holders:

http://www.down-east.com/bolt-on.htm

None of these have ever been used, and I do still intend to use Down East rod holders--I simply cannot use the Lund downrigger brackets. The Salty's are mounted with stainless steel hardware, and they are basically ready to ship.

The price for a NEW Lund downrigger bracket is about $50 ($53 here in Green Bay), and each powder-coated Salty rod holder is $47.50. I am willing to sell the brackets alone, or with the rod holders--and I'd just buy new rod holders. (As long as the rod holders are already mounted, it may just be easier to sell the things as a unit and then I can just buy 4 new rod holders.) I will separate them however, if someone only wants the brackets. But each bracket has two 1/4" holes drilled for the Salty's.

Please PM or email me a contact number, and we can chat about the price for what you'd need. Since I have decided to go another way, I would make someone a very good deal--and the total price will depend upon what items you want.

Thanks!

EDIT: I need to clarify that I don't want to sell the rod holders separately. If no one buys the brackets, I will unbolt the Salty's and install them on the new track system I've decided to go with. Sorry for the confusion.

TB

Point of clarification regarding these brackets...

The brackets are for the ANGLED Sport-Trac rails, like are now on the Tyee. They will not work for boats with a straight rail, like a Pro-V. I did not know this when I posted the ad.

Sorry for the confusion.

Do you still have the downrigger brackets for sale? Will they fit the rail type on the new Lund impact?

Thanks,

Scott
