I was down at Wingra launch today and here the sign posted at the launch for those who never been there before.

PLEASE READ THIS PART - THE CITY IS REPLACING SEWER PIPE BETWEEN MONROE STREET AND THE LAUNCH. IT GOING TO BE A MESS OUT THERE. THE CITY WORKER SAID IT WILL LAST UNTIL OCTOBER. BE ADVISED.

I heard 1 lane on that strech Saturday.....
A friend of mine is stuck working down there on Saturday. (pretty ticked I might add) I dont think his boss grasps the amount of boats that will likely show up.

a buddy of mine was in madison today and said the road to the launch was closed, will it be open tomorrow or turn on another street(if so which one). Also dorns was busy and will probably run out of suckers,he thought maybe they had free beer at the front of the line because it was so long.

I think they will run out at sometime maybe tomorrow but probably not, I only say this because the bait truck had parked me in when I went there, and before they had added any suckers they had about 50-60, I am heading back over there in about 15 minutes to get some suckers for tonight so I will let you all know what they have as of close tonight.

Yes it was always there. There was some question of what was allowed and nobody knew exactly what it said so I went down to launch to take a picture of it for all to see.
It was just put up for information purposes.
