does anyone have the new thorne brothes predator rod. is the xh just like the st croix big dawg? is the h like st croix sling blade?

The Predator xh is closer to the sling blade then the big dawg rod. The heavy is more comparable to the 20 steel then anything else.

would you recomend the xh for twiching 10" cranks as well as ripping mag dawgs?

Depends which 10" cranks you are using and what other rods you have. 10" deep diving slammers it will be a good option, 10" Jakes or big games, it will probably be a little heavy to cast with, nicer to rip with.
