| I have a lowrance x-17 on my dash and bow hooked together and running off the same puck. When running over rough water the gps will bleep in and out. Sometimes for seconds sometimes for minutes or more. Not just rough water but sometimes sitting still jigging walleyes in calm water it will do it. Put the updates in it last year and it still does it. Checked connections but maybe not good enough? Anyone else have this issue? Any ideas what is causing it? It has done it ever since I got it in 2005.

| Does the screen of the unit bleep in and out or just the gps portion? If it is the screen then I would check the connections again and hope that takes care of it or there could be a loose wire inside the unit. If it is just the gps, try checking the connections again, but if that doesn't work, see if a new puck takes care of it. |

| With position lost I would assume it is the module having issues. If you have done the update, try a different module. If it keeps it up you might have to send it in to Lowrance, unfortunately. |

Location: Eagle River, WI | Where is your puck located on your boat?
I had the same issue with my 334 and x28 and it was because I was getting interference with my x28. Also You have to go into your units and designate the puck as your primary gps. |
