Getting ready to buy a Pro Mariner Pro Tournament 300 or a 150 from Cabellas can anyone tell me if the 300 is worth the extra $100.

I'm not familiar with those particular models, but if you want your batteries charged overnight, get at least 10 amps per bank. Also, take a look at warranty, which is figured into the price of some chargers. I believe most promariner chargers have a 2 year warranty, but Minn Kota chargers have a 3 year warranty.

It all depends on how many batteries you are trying to charge. I would go with the 300 because you are still getting 10 amps per bank. You could also do a search on this ? and come up with quite a few answers. but 10 amps per bank will get you back on the water the next day with fully charged batteries without a doubt. You know what they say Go Big or Go Home.
