| What is the going rate for replica mounts? A local Taxidermist is charging $9.75 per inch for skin mounts (checked the price for a walleye not a musky). Just wondering what the going rate per inch is for replicas. I would definately do a replica of a musky and I'm curious the price difference. |

| That sounds about right for a skin mount around here. It's about 10$ for skin and 12$ for a replica. |

Location: Stevens Point, WI | I've seen a lot between $13 and $14 an inch for replicas, that seems to be the normal range near me- for a single sided replica. Double sided will be more. Last i checked, Lax was a touch lower in price, and a touch higher in quality than most others. |

| muskihntr - thanks for the links - Lax lists $12.50 per inch for a one sided.
I'm going to catch and release on all species of trophy fish not just muskies. The extra money for the replica is worth it to watch a trophy swim away! |
