I used it tonight shooting Ice video, and the Video in interface worked flawlessly. I'll try the hat camera this weekend, and do not anticipate any problems. Records to an SD card, 2 gig max. it lasted over tow hours tonight and had battery left when the card filled up. Stopping and starting recording in a new clip is a one button function. Not a super quality unit, but records in 640X480, plenty clear for the web. I've seen these offered for less than $40. The spy camera with microphone from Newmp3technology should work just fine, for a package price of under $140.00. I'd check around a little for the spy camera to see if you can find it a little cheaper.
