Posts: 135 | Good looking baits but it sounds like they pretty much just decided to combine one of Tacklebooty's monikers (Grunt Muskie Lures) with the dog for bulldawg.

Posts: 2024 | Billy B - 2/17/2009 8:45 PM Those don't look like shack attack baits at all... Really? http://www.shackattacklures.com/acatalog/11__Curly_Sue_Custom_Color... Same tail designs, same scale patterns, same dorsal fin, same top hook on the paddle tail bait... Look AWFULLY similar to me.

Posts: 909 | Maybe it's a prototype lure from Grunt Tackle/Tackle Industry that never came out? James will chime in on this! Brian

Posts: 531 Location: Hugo, MN | Pretty sad how cut throat some people are. Andy makes some great baits and runs his business the right way. Hope nobody is buying stuff like this. Whoever is making these doesn't deserve a dime for it.

Posts: 1456 Location: Kronenwetter, WI | It's not cutthroat, it called capitalism...capitalizing on market trends...why do you think Booty is successful? BTW---Is that a clip I see behind the dorsal to attach a gunner blade?---if so, not a bad idea! Edited by Cowboyhannah 2/17/2009 11:33 PM

Posts: 2024 | Billy B - 2/17/2009 8:51 PM sarcasm bro. As Rod Farva from "Super Troopers" would say, "My bad Cap." :D As a side note, pretty good copy though. They got pretty much everything down to a T. Funny thing is there was never anything "wrong" with Andy's baits, but I suppose that's capitalism for ya. I'll continue buying "the real deal." Andy's a super guy and will always get my business.

Posts: 2687 Location: Hayward, WI | I see he has one on there that looks something like an actual Dawg also. Something pretty drastic would have to happen for me to stop buying from Shack Attack and Tacklebooty... curleytail

Posts: 4053 Location: Land of the Musky | Not mine but I have seen a few on eBay over the last 10 weeks. I had not seen them for about 4 weeks though. email Andy. I know he keeps up on anything close to his lure designs. I am guessing they will not have the internal harness Andy has in his. Andy's harness design really does make his lure rock solid!
