Cold and muddy where I fished. 38-42 degrees, and above winter pool. Flooded recently.

Did you check to see if the owners of the fridge left any "beverages" in there...

Is that an Ice Berg or a fridge ? LoL

The shad and your bait look related.... Match the hatch for sure.

When you live in KY, you never open refrigerators you find floating out in the lake. That is a hard and fast rule in my boat, anyway.

Beavers.

The shad had found there way into a warmer tributary and it was loaded up with them, but no muskies eating at the time I was there. Saw a school of 2-3 lb largemouth and they were pretty much sedentary too, just swam out of the way slowly. The soccer ball was a nice change from the repetitive UK basketballs in various states of deterioration we find in the lake, but too far into the muck mat to want to get it.

I had several more pics but got so disgusted with the site not taking my pics, even though they were sized down, I just gave up. Had one pic of the all to rare, KY Quintiple, FIVE TIRES IN ONE SHOT. I may still try and put that up.

Wish you wouldn't have let the cat out of the bag about the "tire hole".
