WHO HAS USED THIS LINE ? I was spooling one of my spinning reels today or I should say trying to with #8 trilene maxx this stuff wants to jump off the spool it comes on and wind and twist onto its self .I've never seen anything like it!

Try turning the spool around, put the line on the reel spool just as it comes off the new reel (same direction).

Some lines have more memory than others. I haven't used the maxx, but have spooled a few reels with and and it does coil more than others. The only line I use on spinning reels is Gamma Co-polymer.

You might have a spool that was exposed to too much sun on the shelf, or any number of other things could have happened. Can you take it back to where you bought the line?
