So i've quickly outgrown my first DIY Box. So I thought I would show off my new one for you guys. I went to walmart and picked up a $15(Clearanced) Tackle bag and home depot and got 2 10' pieces of 2x3 Vinyl Downspout. Cut the downspout into 11" pieces, glued them together with PVC glue, smoothed down a few edges and corners with my dremel and voila!

All in one package...
Tools in the pack pocket...
Leaders, Spare hooks, etc in a plano in the front pocket...
Should about up to about 30 baits, which should be all i'll ever need on a single trip, and i've got everything in one bag...

For less than 30 bucks I think it turned out for me pretty well. I'm sure more of you guys have came up with something like this for yourselves, let's see some pics.

That downspout is good stuff. I made tubes to go around my seat post. I also took half of the dividers out of my flambeau box and put in downspout tubes. It gives me different spacing so I can maximize storage. I also left a row in the middle empty for hanging large lures and topwaters like creepers.

I'm going to use some more of it to make a bucktail box with a milk crate.

I've used some of that stuff and put it in a bucket to put around my pedestal. I like the idea of buying a bag and filling it with dividers yourself. Very smart! Looks like I have a winter project.

That is way cool! Guys on this site continue to amaze me with their creativeness. Thay is like the perfect "day bag" to take along if you're going in a buddies boat for a day or a weeked. The shape of the downspout is much better suited for muskie lures than the traditional square. I've got a few soft coolers that I put Plano boxes in, but I think that is going to change. Thanks for sharing another muskie creation.

Thanks, That is what I had in mind with a bag rather than just a regular hard toolbox or something, because its got all the extra pockets and stuff to put my other neccesities. I fish with my buddies alot and we basically take turns on who's boat we go in, so this makes it handy to have anything all in one bag. Just grab and go.
