Medic, getting wrapped is the best feeling in the world, isn't it?
Once you are wrapped, you never become unwrapped.
Great pictures too.

I got to hang out with my family and take one of my little ones and my nephew out on the ice for a few hours. Got a nice pike for my nephew and some "nemos" (gills) for my little one.

That followed up by a kickball game on the ice, a few cocktails with the family, and a great day was had. Also got to watch my little ones tear into their presents as well.

It's amazing how Christmas expectations change over the years.

Since I am the only one in my immediate family that fishes I just got gift cards, you can't trust someone that knows nothing about the addiction to buy the right stuff. I got a rainsuit that I have to take back because its horrible. It was a good christmas overall, just cant wait until spring.

I receveid a nice assortment of baits from Tackle Industries (Booty tails, super ciscos, Super D's, and a couple of nibblers). Plenty to keep me busy next year.

I got some stuff repaired. (See picture :P)
I also got some really good stuff like a Zune120, some new baits, and some other stuff.

(The picture was taken about 2 weeks post surgery, so it doesn't look anywhere NEAR that bad now.)

Just got my Christmas present today...but it still needs to be put together. I purchased the goods to do my own build on a 7'-6" rod. This will be the first of many rods over the coming years. Still need to build a few items to do all the work like a handle sanding jig, and a finish machine.

So far, the main handle cork and the reel seat are on. Tomorrow, the fore grip goes on.

So...new hobby to help pass the down time off the water....
