Location: N.FIB | I like that rod rack,I keep mine inside all year long,I don`t want my rods and reels exposed to extreme heat or cold.I don`t think the rods would matter as much as the reels,I`ve always wondered about the oil in the reels drying up or freezing up.Where can I get one of those rod holder racks at. |

Location: Racine, Wi | Get some coated bike hooks that you can screw into the rafters. I have 24 of them in the garage for the trolling rods, then I took a couple of 2x4s and put them in the basement, then put the bike rack hooks into those and hung all of my casting rods on those. They are inexpensive, easy to install and hold your rods very well. If it wasn't so cold, I'd take a picture of my rods in the garage, but I'm a wuss and lazy right now.  |

| I have verticle rod racks on the wall of my garage to hold about 30 rods and then put the majority of them in the rafters of my garage. Nothing fancy, just layed across the rafters.
The rod racks like shown work well if you have a high enough cieling. My basement, and I believe most basements, are not all that high. Most are only about 7' high and the rack holds the rod about 6" off the ground so only 6'6" or less rods work in my basement and I don't even think I have a rod that short that I use anymore.
The other reason I don't put them in my basement is because my screen door eats long rods like there's no tomarrow! |

| I have a rod rack similar to the one displayed. My brother made it for me out of oak. Nice piece of furniture. I keep it in my heated garage corner, with all, well most, of my rods in it. I probably keep close to 30 rods in it. Just rods. All my reels come off, and get stored in a wall cabinet. All drags are backed off, and I go through them throughout the winter, strip the line, and clean them. I reline in the spring. |

I think since we brought them out, we have sold 46,000 of them in the U.S. (As of about 6 months ago when I did the numbers). I am pretty sure that Gander Mountain stores have them as well as Meyer's. Those are the ones I know have purchased them recently. If you can't find them locally... you can go to okumafishingteam.com and order them on the site. The rack will ship from the closest retailer in your general area that stocks them.
Pretty good value considering you are going to pay $80+ for a wood rack.

| I actually built my own for about 15$ It turned out pretty good. If you're good with wood working that would be the way to go in my opinion. |

| WOW! $24.99 is a helluva deal.
I do a lot of woodworking and been planning to build one out of some oak I have laying around. If that rack was oak, cherry or walnut there would be more than $25 in materials alone. |
