Sorry to be a pain, but i am addicted to painting baits right now!

1. Once you have primed, you give it a light sanding to smooth the bait out. What do you use to clean off the bait before actual painting. I understand you want to remove all the paint dust, etc. Do you run it underwater and let it dry???

2. Once dry, how many coats of envirotex lite???

I am just playing around with this right now, but i want to learn how to do it right.

I use an air gun to blow it off and a damp towel. Let it dry and paint away.

For epoxy, I use three coats but I think you will do fine with two.
