Been using small lead shot for weighting my gliders. Do you guys melt yours and pour in?

I drill a hole with a forstner bit and insert a small screw in the center. I then pour lead in until it is flush and covers the head of the screw. This way the lead doesn't wrok it's way loose and fall out. Cover it with epoxy and you're good to go.

Do you cover holes with just body filler? I've been using fiberglass resin but it seems to react with the paint and leave bubbles. I'm thinking about using just regular bondo to fill the holes. Thanks for your feedback fellas.

I use small egg sinkers made out of super-soft lead and pound it in to the holes and then cover with epoxy and then wood filler for any blemishes.
