We need to educate on c&r, we should be working to expand the musky's range where it makes sense biologically and socially, and we all need to work together to create a more positive muskie community......but tell me this isn't proof that the best muskie fishing ever isn't RIGHT NOW!

The best muskie fishing all seems to me taking place on Lake X...

Hooray! We are amidst the Golden Age indeed. We need to work together locally to ensure that future generations can say the same thing. It's fantastic that a vast majority of musky fisherman adhere religiously to the tenants of CPR. I contribute the spread of CPR not only to the early pioneers, but to the internet age and websites like this one.

I've already got a 50"+ and a 46" on that link and will add my 47" from last week soon...I could sit and stare at all of those pictures for hours. (All of them) It is the Golden Age and I love it - way better than the Red Lake Crappie phenom!

Is it the Golden age?

Amazing how big these fish can get when you put them back time after time after time after time after time...

yes sir and its our job to promote cpr. just think years back you were a hero on st clair to catch 2 in a day. now 50inchers are not even turning heads. cpr and a positive educational outlook has reaped wonders here. with a 96 per cent release standard it will only get better. all of you crazed musky nuts deserve credit.

I agree that this is the time but I also believe that we hear more about the big fish that are caught now because of the internet. 10 years ago we would not have known about 10% of the fish on that link.

More 50" than ever before! Muskies,Inc big fish contest.....52" might not be on top 25!
Illinois muskie lakes ....many lakes that you must return 47.5" musky back to the water! Minium 48"! Cool!
Several lakes min. 50" in Wisconsin!
More new hot lures mean more muskies like Double Cowgirls! Release is big help for our musky fishing future!
