The pike and musky action is awesome right now around current areas up here in the north. Countless whitefish, walleyes, suckers and large schools of baitfish are concentrating outside of current funnels. I would suggest not fishing right in the fast water but the deep pockets, saddles and points leading in to these types of areas. Upstream or downstream locations are happening. Most visiting anglers do not come to Canada this late in the year but, I believe that this is the best time to be here. The fishing is consistent all day long and the fall colours are impressive.
