| That was me from last year fishing a river system in Wisconsin a while back (not this year). It was a 47" I believe. We boated numerous fish that day and lost a few others mostly coming on Suckers. It was an incredible day. I believe there is a post in the archives about it.
This fish followed one of our suckers for about 5 minutes while we watched in anticipation. The sucker went nuts and was swimming everywhere trying to get out of the water. The muskie then did a complete 180 turned, left that sucker and nailed the one we had hanging on the other side of the boat. I set the hooks on the quickstrike only to come up empty, as my sucker was coming back up to the surface the muskie came back to nail it again, this time, hooks in and the fight was on. Incredible to watch, wish I would have have it on film!
