Was suppose to go hit up marie a week ago, water level was crazy high ( from what I heard ) But Im suppose to hit it next weekend. From what I hear though everyone said the temps are between ( suckers and regular baits ) so whatever that means. I know suckers are useally used for temps thats are a bit colder but I dont know precise temps.

Just an FYI: unless you're just looking to burn some money....I'd suggest staying away from running suckers til that water temp drops a few ticks. 71-73 is a little tough to keep them alive for very long in the water. Just a thought.

No Suckers on the chain this year because of the VHS according to the DNR.

Ben, did you speak with the DNR in regards to suckers on the Chain? I interpret the Emergency response different, and believe it refers to wild bait that you or I catch to use as bait must be used on the water it is caught from. Buying suckers from a bait shop should be certified as VHS free due to their regulations. Maybe I am missing the boat on this, but that is how I read it.

I worded that wrong, You are correct, I spoke to Greg at triangle sports he mentioned that there working on getting suckers west of Mississippi from his supplier, or getting them certified. (50/50 shot)
