I was wondering if Townsend Flowage, Townsend Wisconsin has muskies in it. If so, how is the lake as far as quantity and quality. I will be staying in Wabeno, Forest County next weekend and I'm looking for some quality water somewhat close by.
Thanks

Very very very few, most likely not worth your time. You'd be better off fishing Wabikon or Silver lake in Laona.

Well, not now. But in about 4 years there should be a decent population of catchable musky. As of last november, they stocked 200 12'' musky. They will do it again this year and for the next 4 years after this one. After that, it is 150 more 12''ers every other year. This lake can provide large musky, it is just a matter of time.

Don't overlook Roberts lake in Forest county.
