Thinking about picking a few up. Do they behave like the difference in a shallow dawg vs regular? How do you like them? Anyone know the actual weight of the 9 and 11" models?

Don't know the weight off hand, but I LOVE mine. At first it was almost too shallow. A normal cadence would get the bait popping at the surface (slow down and it stayed down a bit). What I've done is simply put a bell sinker on the front hook hanger to keep the nose down a bit (without a weight it moves forward nose up unlike the weighted models that kind of "hop" with nose down). The bell sinker also allows a very smooth movement through the water and not the hopping action.

Sounds like something I may like. With shallow dawgs I like how you can get that fluttering/barrel rolling action on the jerks, but it usually takes a bend in the internal wire. I was just wondering if you could get the same out of the shallow sues?
