I like to fish stained waters with two different color patterns: I usually start off with Black and yellow, if that isn't producing I will go with Black and Orange.

Firetiger for wood baits, black and silver or firetiger for inlines and black or black and orange for topwaters.
(Thinking of Butternut Lake)

Golden Shiner, a combination of gold, orange and black is my favorite in stained water.

Even on stained waters I still like to start with natural colors of perch, sucker, walleye, etc. Those fatties laying in stained waters didn't get that way by eating firetiger colored suckers. If those don't work I will try the oranges and firetigers.

Gold, black and orange. Or......natural.
I have had no luck on firetiger!!! Okay, I do have one firetiger Jackpot that's been pretty good, but I painted to bottom of it orange. [;)]

Anything with orange and white, or white and orange, or a combination of the two. Throw in a little black for variety.

Jason,

The following have worked well for me in the past.

Hair/Tails/living rubber:

Black/red hackle with silver, orange or chartreause blade.
Black/Yellow/orange hair with brass blade.
Yellow hair/rubber with copper blade.
Natural squirrel with copper or brass blade
Freds Tinsel Tails black/orange or gold

Gliders/Jerk baits:

Perch, Bullhead/Black, Orange firetiger, Acid Frog, Black top/gold side/orange bottom.

Twitch/crank:

Bills Golden Shiner, Maina's white firetiger and orange firetiger, Some custom stuff and basic black.

Rubber/Creature:

Black, Bullhead, and this monkey puke looking color I can't describe very well...:)

Topwater:

Black is beutiful....so is orange/yellow under the right conditions....

With that closet of baits you have an adequate selection to choose from when you get here..[;)]
