What is the current water temps in your area?

Mostly 51 or 52 here in SE Wisconsin.

In Northern Wisconsin I found most to be from 47-50, hopefully the next few days will boost that.

Fished the WI/Mich Border lakes this past weekend and most of the water was from 50 degrees to a max of 53 degrees. I thought I saw a muskie still wearing some long underwear as it followed my bait to the boat.

catch ya later,
Krappie

On the Fox Chain saw 57-58 on most of the lakes. 61 in the bays. Airport bay was the warmest but the weeds were ghetto.

Rice Lake (Barron Cty) was 55 in less that 6' the end of last week. Hopefully by saturday that are at 60 or above. Weeds are growing already, the city even had the "weed-eater" out on the lake yesterday, what's up with that?? Maybe just getting the bugs out of her for the first time this year.

Water temps are near 50 degrees in the morning and almost 55 as the day warms up. Need warmer nights to maintain temps.

Good luck, Murph

Shell (Washburn County) was at 50 on Sunday when I was Smallie fishing. Boated the first musky of the year (30") and lost another last week fishing for smallies. Not a bad start seeing the season isn't even open up here yet.
