Do Muskies sleep? [:0] Maybe a better question is, have you observed any Muskie behavior that could be attributed to something like a state of sleep? Obviously, they can't close their eye's. Yes, there are fish that actually sleep and some of them quite deeply. I observed many reef fishes while night diving in Okinawa. One that was about 3lb's was in such a deep sleep state that it took 3-4 pokes of my finger to wake it up and then it took about ten seconds for it to wake up enough to swim away.
