| I wasn't big on the spankies I threw this year. They seemed to have a lot of problems with blades rotating, and with fouling worse than others. couple that with being heavier, you had to pull that much harder to keep them up in the water column. |

i mean, i know they are heavier blades... but i thought they thump less. making them easier to reel in .. correct me if im wrong...

That is correct, but they also tend to run deeper. If you want to work them in shallow cover the .025 will perform much better. It takes a lot more effort to work the .040 high in the water column. |

Location: Latitude 41.3016 Longitude 88.6160 | I use a TRINIDAD 16N, so I like the weight of SPANKY BAITS, I can burn them and they don't blow out. GREAT BAITS !!!!!!! Most other D10-13 I have to add weight to them so they don't blow out.
