So I had another bait break on me...I was using a Heddon Super Magnum Spook (the wood thru wired one) and hooked a 45" class fish up...fought it hard and got her in the net only to find out that she had pulled the thru wiring out of the bait at the back hook all the way through the body almost to the front hook...I love these things because they are a little bigger than a jackpot, they don't pop out of the water and they don't break the bank...I had caught only 2 fish on that bait and the thru wiring pulled out...glad I didn't loose the fish but it can never be used again...don't get me wrong either, I use jackpots and they catch fish but I prefer the Heddon Super Magnum Spook...thoughts on what I hould do...

Return the lure or buy a new one.

I never complain about lures that get tore up from catchin fish on them. Heck, I got a whole tackle box of stuff without a tooth mark on them!...LOL
