Posts: 1764 Location: Ogden, Ut | I wasn't going to say where, but then it probably wouldn't be that hard to figure out... I took the family up to Pineview for a bit of fishing before the crowds of the holiday weekend ruin the place. It was a hot, calm and sunny day - perfect for muskies ya know. We hadn't been on the water for 10 minutes when a 34 incher smashed my Heavy Perka. Nik got the nod for netting duties (gotta learn sometime, right?) and deftly netted it twice...yeah, it swam in and back out then I led it back in again! A couple of bait changes for Lisa and a beautiful 33" fish ate her Bobbie bait. I think it was the first time since the boys have been born that they allowed her to fish for more than 7 or 8 casts and she made the most of it. We had a lot of lookers and a couple fish swing and miss gliders. It was a fun day to be on the water. The reservoir is still nearly full, but starting to drop just a bit now. Water temps in the mid-70s and clarity still good (aside from the turbidity caused by boat traffic). S. Attachments ---------------- LJul2tiger.jpg (152KB - 86 downloads) | ||
