Posts: 1188 Location: Iowa | So I had a small fish in the mid 30 inch range hooked up the other day on a super believer in the 9 inch model and lost it. Come to find out the jointed part pulled out and all I brought back was the front half with the two hooks. I guess the fish just had ahold of the tail and the presure was to much and pulle the screw eye attachment out of the bait. Should I send it back to Drifter or what. Curious if anyone else has had this problem. Big Perc

Posts: 2 | Good Afternoon, Sorry to hear about the Super Believer coming apart. Anytime there is a quality problem with our products it gets our attention! We take great pride in our products being American made and of the highest quality. However, that is not to say we never have a defective product or warranty issue, but these are normally isolated incidents with a specific product. The quality of our products is under constant scrutiny by ourselves and our customers. Utilizing the feedback of our customers and combining it with the resources at hand we are continually looking to improve our quality and processes. We think we've done that, but it's a job that is never done. Also, it should be noted that there are no hooks in the tail portion of the Super Believer's or the Super Stalker's therefore it would be unlikely that the tail portion coming off would have caused the loss of the fish. Never the less the tail should not of come off and we regret your unfortunate experience with one of our products. If you would be so kind to return the defective bait to us, we will send you a new replacement no charge and one additional bait for your troubles. We always appreciate your feedback. Posts: 159 Location: NYC (and many weeks in MN during summer) | But what about the 59" I lost? J/K. I read drifter's response and just wanted to comment on his reply. I own some drifter products, and with the way this situation was handled, will continue to support a company who thoroughly stands behind their products, as well as standing up for their customers. Stuff ain't cheap, and I am glad to see an American company step up and do the right thing! Randy
