Posts: 1996 Location: Pelican Lake/Three Lakes Chain | lambeau - 6/25/2008 2:22 PM who wants a quiet motor??? a Tuffy deserves the attention...gotta let that Opti growl! I'm not going to deny that when I was running an Opti for a while last year it made me pump my chest out a bit and grunt like a gorilla occasionally. I do like the option of talking to clients while the motor is running, however. Seriously, they are all good motors, but I don't want anybody misled either. | ||

Posts: 1663 Location: Kodiak, AK | jonnysled - 6/23/2008 1:19 PM ... the ranger was sold on saturday to a guy that i think is one of the most unique innovators we might see in the sport. jeff breidenbach (esoxfly) drove down the road with my center console ranger embarking on his move to st. clair and some of the most unique and creative flies and equipment i've ever seen. for him he gets into a big ranger for a good used price ..... Thanks Jon. I appreciate the sentiment. I'll be putting it all to work in less than a week when I get up there. I've had the boat out once, and you're right, people on the ramp launching Lund's and Trackers were looking at me like I had three heads with that boat. I don't know if a center console had ever been launched on that little lake. It was fun towing through Chicago construction. Thanks again Jon. You ever have a layover in Detroit, I'm a phone call away, and there'll always be an open seat for you.
