Ive noticed on a few of my marabou bucktails (tied onto a coil), that there is a deal of rust built up on them (the coil) after use. I usually try to dry everything out afterwards but sometimes.....well, everynow now and then.

Anyone else have this issue and if so, any suggestions? Do the VMC chips really work that well and stopping any rusting issues.

Marabou does take a surprising amount of time to dry. Best advice is to always leave your boxes open.

I drill holes into my Plano boxes. My Lakewoods seems to stay hot enough in the sun to dry the lures out well during the day.
