With all the rising doom and gloom about high fuel costs in the time of a recession....give us some good news! Where you going fishing, how many are you going to catch? Yaaaaay weekend!

No Fishing this weekend, With all the high water and "NO WAKE" lakes around here I am going to take advantage of the time off of fishing and have some much needed work done on the boat before I head to Sabaskong

My plan was to head up to 3 Lakes to my cottage, but I'm still pumping water out of my basement here in Fond du Lac. You still can't get across town without getting out to the frontage road and going around. Anything close to the river in the middle of town is still under water. I'm hoping I can get things cleaned up by tonight and still head north. I missed last weekend because of tire warranty issues on my trailer that took 10 days to get handled.

I think that I will go chase walleye on the streets of Pewaukee. Maybe even walk up and down the side walks pullin a board down the center line and in the gutters trying to "troll" up a musky or two.

Pewaukee Lake was my destination, but they just placed a "No watercraft" limitation on the lake until further notice!
I have never heard of that before!
