Posts: 3508 Location: Elk River, Minnesota | Hi Everyone, Picked up one of those fish Picks that had been a topic of discussion on here a while back. Got an opportunity to use it over the weekend on a fish and I can honestly say this...If you don't have one, GET ONE!! It was so easy to get hooks out...especially those really hard ones where the barb gets buried in tough skin. you can push, pull, etc to with ease to get the hook out. Not like a baker or long-nose pliars where you have to somehow get a grip on the hook first before you can move the lure. Just get the pick into the curve of the hook in the manner the hook needs to come out and it's slicker than slime off a fish.... Definitely worth the $15. This is a time saver...it is extremely efficient and will save many a fish. Thanks again for such a great product!! It's worth it!! Steve

Posts: 1243 Location: Musky Tackle Online, MN | The Hook Pick is a very simple tool that does an amazing job. You really have to see it in action to understand how valuable it is. It's honestly one of those tools that no boat should be without. Just like a bolt cutter, pliers, etc. Thanks for the mention, Lundbob. I'm expecting a bunch more to arrive any day. Aaron

Posts: 2024 | And it also works on saltwater species! http://muskie.outdoorsfirst.com/board/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=40... Tried it on an 8' nurse shark, but it's flesh was too thick to pop the circle hook out. Attachments ---------------- P4261242.JPG (156KB - 195 downloads)
