Posts: 358 Location: London, England | Was it squeeking at another eagle? I saw a shadow pass by. Gotta be tough for them to get a fish supper in the winter.

| That is cool, it amazes my sometimes how bold bald eagles can be. Like the time I had a 6'9" St. Croix with a sucker attached to it stolen out of my boat by an eagle. Then I had to put my net over it and unhook it! Once you get up close to a full grown bald eagle you gain a new appreciation for how majestic they are. | |||

Posts: 2515 Location: Waukesha & Land O Lakes, WI | We feed the Eagles minnows and perch up by us. They'll walk within 10-20 ft to get a free meal. A bird like this who attempts to winter in northern wis gets a freebee in my book. cool clip.

Posts: 355 Location: Wausau, Wisconsin | The bird eventually closed the 10 foot mark for crappie number 5. I'll load that photo soon. Thanks for the comments.

| That's pretty neat! It must've been screaming at an immature bald eagle, osprey's are down in the tropics during winter. They can't tolerate much below 40 degree's. | |||
