What is the best method for cleaning the ABU carbon matrix drag washers. Last time I cleaned my reels I think I might have got some oil on them. Drag slips when setting hook but feels fine other wise.

Liquid lighter fuel (zippo fuel) is a good at cleaning the grease/oil off reel parts and the dispenser makes it easy to use and keep.

Good old brake cleaner and a quick wipe with a dry rag has always worked for me. Leaves no residue.
