Got home from work tonight, hooked the rig up and finaly got to dump it in the lake and give it a run. Still a little chilly at WOT, but it still feels GREAT!!!! New SS prop was awesome. Thought it might be a problem since I bought the same pitch as my alum prop was and was worried that my RPM's would be too low. Wasn't even a problem.....turned 5600 at WOT and the ole Opti was just howling. Hole shot was improved and gained about 3.5 mph. Can't wait to be able to chuck some plugs now!

Hiya,

Now..ya ready to play with motor height?

Glad to hear the prop worked out well. Where'd you put in up there? Figured there would still be some ice on the waters in your area...

The lake just outside of town has been open since last Thursday. Quite a few lakes in my area are already open, which surprised me as well.

Don't know if the motor height adjustment is necessary. Max RPM's for the motor is 5750, and I was turning 5600.
