Awesome looking spoons, very nice patterns, especially the first one at the top.

The three Eppingers reminds me of how I combine two diffrent sizes of Abu-spoons into one lure. The action is great, moves from side to side and at the same time moves in s-shaped curves, with a little bit of a swimbait-feeling.

... Btw... Good spoons are not line twisters, they just move from side to side in a "controlled" way, bad spoons spins all the way around... and twist the line.

yes good spoons. all i suggested is what you show a proper swivel . i have run spoons in the wash for years. actually in the 1960,s they were a mainstay on st clair.

Hi Ray, yea its ok to post pictures of my work ha ha ha . Those blanks are hard to get , 12 inches and weigh in at 8 ounces. They are steel so I had to use a rust preventative primer. and wet sand 5 coats of it to get a good base for the baint. I also put 5 coats of etec on them. The monster splitrings are Rosco #11 and I guess you used 14/0 Mustad hooks. I have been making custom Spoons for near 20 years. Not much call for them anymore but Ray here likes them and I look forward to seeing a huge Pike or Laker pinned to one this year. Ill bet you could get a Musky to eat one of those Cisco patterns in Wisconsin or Minnesota in say November?? troll it slow so it really wobbles and flops. I would replace your snap with a huge ball bearing swivel and use like 150 lb 49 strand wire leaders. My nipples get hard just thinking about them down there with miss piggy ha ha ha . Kingfisher
