Random quote: After about a half-mile the fella stopped and stooped over, with his hands on his thigh's to catch his breath, and the Game Warden finally caught up to him."Let's see yer fishin' license, boy," the Warden gasped.

Subject: crankbaits

Hey guys I see you are all really helpful on this site so I was hopeing you could help me to. I have been messing around trying to make some crankbaits lately but I'm having a hard time. They keep wanting to pull to one side or the other. Now I know that they can be tuned and I have done this but the eye ends up being bent way more then a little to get them to run. My two problems are 1- I have a hard time drilling a straight hole in the nose of the bait. So then the screw eye is off. and 2 - How do you guys get your lexan lips in straight with the body of the bait. I have been just eyeing them up but it dosen't work well. Any suggestions on maybe a jig or something I could build to help?
Thanks guys
