| I'm interested in getting an Okuma Induron 250. Has anyone had any experience with this reel? I'm wondering if it has a disengaging levelwind.
I purchased a Tica Caiman a few years ago and was very disapointed with it because of that feature.

Location: Yahara River Chain | Bob, contact Mark Rogers directly at Okuma for all the info you need. He will help you out (if he doesn't see and answer here 1st). His addy is [email protected] I know that the 400 is a great reel and this is just a scaled down version of that. |

| the 250 has an engaged levelwind.
http://www.okumafishingteam.com/reels/roundbaitcast/induron.html
look over on the right side where it lists features: "Engaged levelwind on 250/400 models."

| You guys think the 250 would be up to the task for a jerkbait/all around reel? |

Location: Ontario, California | Sorry guys... I was away from the computer for a few days. As Lambeau said... the levelwind is engaged on the 250 sized IDX-400A. Make sure you order the "A" version as the older version did not have the engaged system. If you have any other questions... please let me know.
