| Hi, i am going to be in cozumel late march. was curious if anyone has personal experience with any of the marlin charters. I have never been there and not sure if heading down to the marina works there as it has in other areas I have traveled...thanks for any help...Ben |

| I've fished with Albatros a couple of times. Reasonable, and knowledgeable. Most times you can poke around, figure out who doesn't have a charter that day, and get a cut rate. Many charters there are half shares, on anything other than marlin, if you want to keep it, you get half, or pay market for it. Most billfish are now release. |

| Thanks guys, I just got my certification so I will be diving there. I am going with a friend who goes down there about once a month. He however doesn't really fish. I mentioned the fishing today and he thinks the guy who takes us diving, his kids run charters for fishing...so I might be okay. I appreciate all the help...Dan any good restaurants would be greatly appreciated...thanks for all the help...Ben |
